Q. Will you create the banners for us?
A. To keep your costs to the minimum, we do not keep an in-house designer. We can point you in the right direction with selecting a designer for the job. However, at that level of ad spent you may end up spending more on designing the creative than on your entire campaign. Therefore, we would recommend you to go with a more cost effective solution such as text ads that you can create yourself. There are also a variety of web tools that let you create image banners on the fly. That being said, your account manager will gladly help you optimize your text ads based on years of experience. back to top...

Q. Can I geo-target my ads?
A. All ads on our network are geo-targeted to United States by default. You will not be wasting any money on foreign traffic. Larger buys may be geo-targeted to specific states. back to top...

Q. What other targeting options are available on MedBanner network?
A. The third party ad serving solution we use is more sophisticated than you’ll ever need. It allows us to target your campaigns by any combination of the following variables: channel, specialty, website, zone within a website, continent, country, state, zip code, DMA, day of the week, date, hour of the day, operating system & web browser. back to top...

Q. Can I target specific healthcare specialties in one or two states only?
A. We do have such capabilities, for larger buys, yes you can. Keep in mind though that each additional targeting filter placed on your campaign will make your impression more expensive. So, if you are thinking about targeting radiologists within 50 miles of a zip code in Ohio, it may be cheaper for you to take a drive and knock on their doors… please, keep it real! In general, for a larger target market you pay less per each impression and vice versa. Obviously, non of that applies to our promotional packages. All our packages are set to geo-target entire United States only. You do have a choice of channels such as Nursing/Allied, Physician, Med Student & Healthcare Consumer, but you will not be able to choose specific specialties within a channel. back to top...

Q. What is frequency cap and what will be the settings for my campaign?
A. Frequency cap is the ad serving setting that determines the maximum amount of impressions of your banner that will be shown to a visitor browsing our publisher sites over a set period of time. Over the years we’ve run hundreds of advertising campaigns and determined that in most cases advertisers receive best value for their money with frequency cap setting two impressions per day per unique visitor. In other words, the same set of eyeballs will not see your ads more than two times in 24 hours. Historical data tells us that chances of a click on a banner diminish drastically after starting with the third banner impression to any unique visitor. back to top...

Q. Where exactly will be the placement of my banner on the page & how many other banners will that page have?
A. One of our strictest requirements with our publishers is that all our banners will have the most prominent positions on the page. All Full Banners (468x60) and Leaderboard banners (728x90) are displayed above the fold (or top 600 pixels of the page). In other words a visitor will see your banner without scrolling down the page. Skyskraper banners and other larg size banners may be placed slightly lower, but at least 25% of it should be visible without scrolling. We do not allow placement of our clients banners on any page that does not have sufficient and relevant content. Also, we do not allow excessive placement of banners on any page, such as placing two banners in a row or on top of each other. Q. How fast will my ad impressions be delivered?
A. All three packages are set to be evenly distributed over a period of one to two months. The Budget Package impressions are set to be distributed over one month, the Premium Package is set to be delivered over six weeks and the Ultimate Package is set for two months. Keep in mind that we are able to give you such small packages by giving you our unsold inventory. The amount of unsold inventory varies from one month to another and therefore, sometimes we may take slightly longer to deliver your impressions. back to top...

Q. What are the payment terms?
A. Budget and Premium Packages require a full upfront payment. Ultimate package may be paid in two installments. First installment of $1,000 is due prior to the start date and the other $899 is due 30 days into campaign. Q. Are there any other fees/expenses I should be aware of?
A. One of the benefits of working with MedBanner is no hidden fees. Our packages were created based on years of experience with needs of small & midsize healthcare business demands. Keep in mind though that we do not create banners for you. So, you will have an extra expense of hiring a designer (we can point you in the right direction with selecting a designer for the job if you would like). However, at that level of ad spent you may end up spending more on designing the creative than on your entire campaign. Therefore, we would recommend you to go with a more cost effective solution such as text ads that you can create yourself. Q. Will I have access to real time reports?

Q. What kind of reports will be available?
A. You will be able to run performance reports for any timeframe based on states, zip codes, day of the week, time of the day, creative & channel. Standard reports include impressions, clicks and click-through rates. If you choose to place a conversion tracking code that we will provide upon request, you will be able to see number of conversions, cost per conversion and your conversion rates for any of the variables listed above. back to top...

Q. What technical specification should my designer keep in mind while creating the banners?
A. Please make sure that the creative you submit are of correct size – 468x60 pixels. Maximum file size is 30K. We allow up to 3 loops. If you decide to go with flash technology, make sure that the file you submit is for Flash 5 or an older version. In case of text ads, you can simply send the ad text to your account manager and he will get it setup for you. Please specify if you would like to have entire banner area clickable or only specific words within the text. We recommend keeping your ad text to no more than 150 characters including spaces. Also, regardless of the creative type please remember to send us the URL you would like us to redirect the visitors that click on your ads. Finally, we strongly recommend submitting 2 different creatives to test with the Budget Package, and 3-4 creatives to test with Premium & Ultimate packages. back to top...

A. You can and you should! Search engines are a great way of getting relevant traffic to your websites and if your budget permits, we highly recommend you to utilize them to the fullest extent. All our account managers are highly trained search engine marketers and hold Google Qualified Professional & Yahoo Ambassador certifications. Q. Ok, I would like to give it a try… how do I proceed?
A. Simply submit our online request form with your company information, contact information, website URL, select the package, your target market channels & preferred method of payment. Your dedicated account manager will email you our standard media buy agreement and an invoice. Upon receipt, sign the agreement and email it back to us, submit the payment (in case of credit card payment our accounting department will contact you on the phone to get your credit card information) and send us your creatives (banners).
